Change is hard.
We hear it all the time. The problem is that we hate change and love it at the same time.
What we are really hoping for is for things to remain the same...but to get better.
I caught myself lamenting some 'changes' last week and I got a little down. When I realized what I was doing, I tried to practice acceptance instead.
Acceptance without judgment as to whether these possible changes were good or bad.
Things don’t always go the way we want. Sometimes what is happening is for the best and I am trying to be open to that as a possibility.
If you are having a struggle with change, see how non-judgmental acceptance feels. It helped me this week.
Viktor Frankl spoke on this when he said, "When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves."

Good points David as it was a challenging week for me too with things that came on upon reflection with a business trip to NYC and subsequent dialogues. Acceptance may be more Awareness of things coming from the outside that we may or may not be able to handle in the way we want....as it said> "Non sempre ciò che vien dopo è progresso."
