Bad news is sudden. Good news is usually gradual.
As a result, bad events or news seem more prevalent and common as if there were more of it.
In reality, even with something as bad as the pandemic, things are better now than at any time in human history.
Here's my new mantra on all things about being 'informed' of problems.
Less news, more muse...
🌀 Reflection:
Today and throughout the weekend, focus your mind on the good things you are witnessing in the world and experiencing in your life.
Seek out creative experiences. Read a poem, listen to music, or write in your journal. I even include my runs as a creative expression.
As the weekend comes to a close, reflect back on your attitude and mode.
🌱 Were there changes?
🌱 What difference did you notice focusing more on the muse and less on the news?
