For Everything a Season
Have you ever gotten an email or read a comment online where EVERY WORD WAS CAPITALIZED OR BOLD?
Did anything stand out or capture your attention? Likely not. As Seth Godin said, “If everything is bold, nothing is.”
One of my favorite bits of ancient wisdom is from Solomon.
“For everything, there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven...”
Sometimes life will be exciting, and other times not. There will be times requiring (pardon the pun) BOLD action, other times waiting, or even inaction.
There will be times of sadness and times of joy.
Part of the fun is embracing it all.
That can certainly apply to my approach to writing as well.
One season is ending, and one involving something new is beginning for me.
What began as an experiment aimed at daily reflections - benefiting both my creative process and providing you, the reader, with consistent content - has evolved beyond that initial phase.
The time for that single season of uniformity has passed, and I find myself eager to inject some variety into the mix. Many of you have expressed a desire for more as well.
In the days to come, anticipate a diverse range of content, from familiar storytelling to profound introspections, light-hearted explorations, and even practical guides.
In essence, this shift transforms from a focus on delivering similar themes every single day to curating an engaging assortment of ideas.
I'm enthusiastic about the newfound creative freedom this brings me as a writer and the positive potential it holds for you.
