audio narration by David Marlow
This is one of those truths we ought to be reminded of every so often.
I sense a number of you need to hear this today so here it is again.
It's an idea from one of my favorite thinkers, Buckminster Fuller.
"Never forget that you are one of a kind. Never forget that if there weren't any need for you in all your uniqueness to be on this earth, you wouldn't be here in the first place.
And never forget, no matter how overwhelming life's challenges and problems seem to be, that one person can make a difference in the world.
In fact, it is always because of one person that all the changes that matter in the world come about.
So be that one person."
If that isn't Ikigai, I don't know what is.
Bonus idea💡 I say remember rather than 'don't forget' (as Fuller does) because people do the command word. When you say, don't forget the command word is forget and that's what the brain focuses on.
When you say always remember, the command word is ‘remember’ and you are significantly more likely to recall something prefaced in that way.
Hey, remember even geniuses like Fuller make mistakes.
🌀 Remember: No matter what has come before, today is a fresh start. 🌱
Let’s make things a little bit better. 🌱

Great to hear that David and also add with positive intent and motives....we have too many examples of Hitler, Stalin, Putin and others in quest of acquisition through evil deeds. See we as logical thinkers in an altruistic manner and being believe in the goodness of humans....we also need to address the evil that is in the world and free-will choices towards those by many. Just being an optimistic realist ;) One person can make a difference, just make sure it is with Agape Love for the Right reasons. motives and final destination! We better serve ourselves if we are honest with ourselves and strive towards the destination and appreciate and develop in the journey! Men are more easily governed through their vices than through their virtues. -Napoleon Bonaparte
I listened to your "report" today for the first time, and that was so refreshing that it wasn't AI talking! You have a great voice. And such good thoughts to ruminate on for the day! 🎯
