Audio narration by David Marlow
Our answers are in our questions.
While searching through some images a while back, I came upon the picture above.
My immediate thought was what a marvelous place that would be to sit down and ponder some questions.
Below is a series of reflection questions to spark contemplation.
Each of these builds upon the prior. Spend some time going deep with each one.
For a few of you, one idea will stand out and prompt a particular time of reflection.
First, let’s set the stage.
Imagine yourself sitting quietly by this creek, the only sound made by the water flowing past the rocks.
Next, take a moment to focus on your breathing, relaxing, and centering on being present.
🌀 Then, begin your reflection by considering these questions…
1. Who do I love, and what am I doing about it?
2. What have I always wanted to do and haven’t yet done?
3. On a day-to-day basis, am I doing the things that matter?
4. What am I doing to live life into my Ikigai with passion, health, and energy?
🌱 Bonus Question:
∙ If an oracle (let’s pretend) could tell you what’s going to happen three years from now, what would you most want to know?
Hmmm. Good questions. I stumbled on the first one because I have always struggled to figure out what love is.
I struggle to write 750 words daily. These will focus today's writing.
And as for the bonus question: Is this an oracle that can only show me what may happen, or is it what could happen. (Remembering the ghosts who visited Scrooge.) In the next three years, will I hurt anyone and what can I do to ensure I don't?
Your capacity to clarify concepts seems to have no limits David!
🌱I found that this reflection rekindled & clarified a dream in my heart which looks like a collective with no agenda...but *wonder* for all.
The invitation to eat, think, breathe & feel our way there was, is and always will be. It's up to us to decide what to make of it 🙏
