I was out for a run the other day and captured this shot while heading up the trail on a hill covered in wildflowers.
It wasn’t that long ago that even the tiniest hill represented a struggle. Something came to me on one of those runs long ago. It was an insight that popped into my mind when a particular hill was no longer tough. I want to leave you with today.
They are hills…until they aren’t.
I’m going to leave it right there for you to ponder adding only that I will explore this idea more in Marlow’s Musing this Sunday.
Quest well.
This reminds me of a quote that resonated & I go back to from time to time...our "setbacks" are our "setups."
I stumbled upon it somewhat recently during a networking event where I met a wrestler...who has double amputations...from the upper torso below.
While we were so physically different from one another in nearly every regard, he reminded me of the space I confined my spirit to unconsciously...for much of my life 🙏
And another quote that touched my soul early on in my career..."are you wrestling with your clients...or dancing with them?"
In conclusion, does anyone else simply love...when the fabric of life weaves together the most vibrant patterns between the most seemingly unrelated things?! Because...YUMOhm!!!
