Ikigai Thought for Today: Mind the Gain
Too often we look at what still needs to be done and ignore how far we've already come.
Audio narration by David Marlow

Never Mind the Gap
One of the fun things about the London Subway, the Tube as it’s called, is the warning to watch out for the space between the train and the platform.
‘Mind the Gap’
Minding the gap is a smart move regarding getting on the trains.
Not so much when focusing on how far we’ve come in life.
📌 Mind the Gain
Instead of the gap in life, let’s mind the gain.
Another way to say this is to "always measure the gain, not the gap.”
When we simply look at the end result we want, we're living into what we think are the final needed outcomes.
We should be living into the next steps and milestones—celebrating those small personal achievements along the way.
🌀 Unless you are riding the subway In London, never mind the gap. Always mind the gain.
Quest well
Love this David! Let's keep celebrating what we choose to claim every inhale, the embrace of the space in between & the opportunity to shed in every exhale this National Nutrition Month...SOul quenching 🤌 🙌
