I definitely see that there is a new kind of journey to take, and new work to be done, when the more 'obvious' kinds are done.

I don't like this use of 'real' though. The path of school, work and family was not less real and, if I hadn't walked that path and done that work, I wouldn't be who am I now starting new things.

Ah, the brilliant rocks in our stream that can stir up our dream, and make it scheme and esteem.

Always with the lovely invitations to reflect on the present David 👏Trusting the process of embracing every single step on the journey of life AND being self aware through the wisdom of my body (thoughts, feelings, physically) to understand when I have opportunities to be heart-minded of not only the path I'm walking but also, how my footprints are actively building the path I most long to walk on. 🙌💃🙏

Very self reflective David and a great question we should ask not only as we age but also when we are young. I like Steve Covey's note of keeping the end in mind and working back from there. We know of only one person that came back from the dead and that was Jesus! We mere humans die and the rest can be a belief system as I do believe the spirit goes on. Point is that if we viewed what may be said at our Eulogy and work back from there we may develop a better way of living in the Present and for what Purpose, Essence and Harmony!

Here’s to celebrating that your mind is still baffled so we can learn from your life wisdom.

For me, real work has been raising my child. As a teacher, I know that teaching is the best way to learn anything. Being a mom has taught me about life.

Thank you! 😊
