It's human to make mistakes.
😉 You'll find a typo or error in nearly every post I make.
I’ve been working on a big project that I hinted at in Sunday’s Musing. Sat down today to ‘finish’ it up.
That was my first mistake.
It involves audio and video, and separately, everything is great. Combined, the sound gets all messed up. I goofed up a setting while recording.
Since I spent all afternoon on that it prompted this short post reflecting on why mistakes are good for us.
Here goes…
Groucho Marx mused, "Learn from the mistakes of others. You can never live long enough to make them all yourself.” I love that quote for its multiple meanings.
✅ We are fallible and are going to make mistakes
✅ There is something to learn when we make mistakes
✅ EVERYONE makes them; see the humor in our humanity
✅ We really should learn from what others have experienced
Many people hesitate to risk mistakes because they fear feeling inferior, while others are busy making mistakes and becoming greater.
Mine are causing me to stretch to solve the problem and test my patience and attitude.
What misteaks will you make today?
