Our Search for Meaning Begins with Purpose
Whether you frame purpose in the context of Ikigai, your 'why,’ or something more closely linked to spiritual philosophy, we all need the meaning that purpose gives.
Understanding our purpose is essential if we are to start living it out in significant ways.
Many jobs and businesses have continued to change since the pandemic. If you are defined by your job or your role and those change, you are in a bit of trouble.
If you are defined more by your purpose, you can adjust and change because your understanding of the root of who you are remains the same.
This is true for individuals and companies and is why I am so passionate about helping people find their ikigai.
It’s why I placed purpose at the top of the Three Circles of Ikigai.
🌀 Remember: Ikigai is about experiencing your essence and purpose in harmony with whatever you do.
Here's a question for your reflection.
🌱 What could you do today to take a step toward better understanding your purpose?
I believe working on our awareness is a good way to find your purpose. When we focus on being aware ( both internally and externally) I believe we get to “see”/realize things that helps us get to what is/what we believe is our purpose.
