The Tube in London warns travelers to mind the Gap.
Nevermind the Gap
One of the fun things about the London Subway, the Tube as it’s called, is the warning to watch out for the space between the train and the platform.
‘Mind the Gap’
Minding the gap is a smart move regarding getting on the trains.
Not so much when focusing on how far we’ve come in life.
📌 Mind the Gain
Instead of the gap in life, let’s mind the gain.
Another way to say this is "always measure the gain, not the gap.”
When we simply look at the end result we want, we're living into what we think are the final needed outcomes.
We should be living into the next steps and milestones—celebrating those small personal achievements along the way.
I think is it important to mind the gaps in life to appreciate and be prepared to mind the gains. Many times people have no clue of the gaps in life and are shocked when something bad happens...yet those that are mindful of the small things are prepared for the success stories as we expect them through hard work and dedication to our planting and nurturing of the seeds we place into the earth! “Remember to celebrate milestones as you prepare for the road ahead.”
