Days filled with stress, anxiety, and worry separate us from the harmony required to live out our Ikigai.
Here are seven rituals of calmness that you can practice to help bring more peace into your day.

These seven rituals will help you cultivate an attitude of calmness:
A calm morning.
Observe your response.
Take things without judgment.
Express gratitude.
Create stress coping habits.
Mono-task.

Quieting the noise in your life so you can hear the signal
Noise is everywhere in our lives. From notifications in social media and news to visual clutter and all the reading required to operate in the world.
Other noise sources are those voices in our heads. You know the ones, voices of fear, judgment, hurt, anger, and more.
I worked on sophisticated electronic gear transmitting and receiving radio signals as an engineer.
If the signal were clean and noise-free, the systems would operate properly. The signal would get drowned out when there was electronic interference, defective components, or other electronic noise sources.
You know what I mean if you’ve ever tried to listen to an AM radio while driving under power lines.
Our lives can get like that.
We get so much noise that it drowns out the necessary ‘signal.’ The world has become so static-filled it is hard to think, let alone thrive and live into our Ikigai.
Get the noise down.
🌀 Look for ways to create space and quiet in your life.
🌱 Eliminate or reduce distractions like notifications and social media.
🌱 Schedule ‘peace’ in your day to walk, think and rest.
🌱 Watch self-talk for negative messages and voices of judgment, stress, and anxiety.
🌱 Replace the negative self-talk with positive and affirming thoughts.
🌱 Journal, write out your thoughts and feelings.
🌱 Review the previous 6 Rituals. They all support noise reduction in some way.
🌱 Find something you enjoy doing and do more of it.
