Be aware of the self-talk you are engaging in as you start your week.
On our Ikigai Journey, we need to give ourselves a bit of a break as we work through our inevitable mistakes and demonstrations of human imperfection.
We are prone to compare ourselves to others partly because we have constant access to people to compare ourselves to through the media, social or otherwise.
Comparison is the thief of joy.
We struggle with judgment because we compare our behind-the-scenes or outtakes with everyone else's edited highlight reel.
Remember, many people around you are mostly just drinking coffee and trying to act like they know what they're doing.
You only see their highlight reels.
🌀How often do you compare your outtakes to the highlight reels of others?
