I have a ton of excitement in my life.
I used to call it stress, but I feel much better now that I call it excitement. It sounds silly, and perhaps it is, though it works.
The process is really framing or re-framing. Several studies can back it up in many applications.
No need to read a bunch of studies; just give it a try today or anytime you feel nervous or anxious about something.
📌 I'm excited about giving that presentation, versus I'm nervous.
📌 I've got so many exciting things I am doing versus I've got so much stress in my life.
✅ I know I'm going to apply it today...a lot.
I am excited. I have 100+ volunteers, untold guests, and at least 1 TV station coming to interview me on Saturday for the non-profit I run. I won't sleep Friday night as the adrenaline courses through my system.
I think I did a video back in the day about being “nervous scared” vs. “nervous excited.” This reminded me of that ☺️
