Not a place we are going to but one we are creating
The Ikigai Journey is not someplace we are going to but one we are creating.
The paths to living our Ikigai are not to be found but made, and the activity of making them changes both the maker and the understanding of the destination.
Living our Ikigai, then, is something we are creating.
While our Ikigai is there inside us, the expression of our Ikigai is being made by us as we explore, test, and try.
The journey to understanding changes both path and path maker.

🌀 Ikigai Idea: As part of uncovering your Ikigai, learn to go deeper in understanding the root meaning of words. The word destination has a much broader meaning than just a place we go.
destination (n.) from Latin destinationem (nominative destinatio) "purpose, design," from past-participle stem of destinare " make firm or fast,"
As you reflect on the two paragraphs above, include the many facets of the word destination in your reflection. It will reveal a richer meaning and deeper understanding of what’s being shared here.
