Creativity always comes as a surprise.

My grandson E and I went on an adventure yesterday.
We don't do walks; they are adventures.
We took Thor's hammer and Captain America's shield just in case, and it was a good thing.
We ended up exploring, finding a whole new path through the dark forest. We didn't even know this branch of the forest existed or that walking through it would take us to another part of the subdivision.
Our Ikigai journey can be a bit like that.
Creativity always comes as a surprise because it wouldn't be needed if a unique creative act weren't something surprising and new.
As we continue our Ikigai quest, we need to be exploring and doing things that open our minds to several creative surprises about ourselves.
The 'act' of being open enables that creative discovery.
Do you have your superhero shield with you? Me and E never leave home without it.
🌀 Reflection:
🌱 What surprises do you have in store this week?
🌱 How might you be more open to surprises?
🌱 How might you explore something new that could spark a creative surprise?
Amazing. I think you just created a spark through your post. Let the creativity begin!
Those creative sparks, those aha moments help maintain momentum towards purpose and they always seem to come at the moments they're needed most. The Shield and Mjolnir are always good accessories to have with you on any adventure.
