“This is the end of the world as we've known it, but it isn't the end of the world.”
That idea is from William C. Taylor, and though I read it many years ago, it has come to mind frequently in the past two.
It is easy to get hung up on what we've perhaps lost or the way things were. Just know, it isn't the end of the world, just the world as we've known it.
It is an appropriate perspective for today and probably for the foreseeable future. We will be pushed to be creative and adaptable in ways and in areas of our lives we've never dreamed of changing before.
Be ready, be open.
Every so often, if you're lucky, you get pushed into a challenge that you don't think you're ready for.
Embrace it.
🌀 Reflection
What would it mean to accept the world as it is rather than what we’d wish it to be?
What would it mean to accept a challenge you didn’t think you were ready for?
Have you ever done that?
How did your life change as a result?
