Monday
The poster in the coffee shop read…
Monday I Shall Slay Thee with My Cup of Coffee
Smiling, I wondered why we feel the need to slay, defeat, or otherwise overcome Monday.
Perhaps it’s because Monday is a ‘DO’ day. We do things. Work, school, whatever. The day marks the beginning of a countless number of things to do.
What if, instead, we focused on ‘BE’ as in being?
Think of the things we could BE…
BE
still
at peace
loving
caring
present
aligned
in harmony
You get the idea.
🌀Reflection:
🌱 What could you BE today that would bring greater happiness into your life?
🌱 What could you BE today that would bring greater happiness into the lives of others?
Be...from a place of overflow so that we may do what is most aligned with ease 🙏...the embodiment of harmonizing grace & gravity...what would an effortless spirit say? 🤷♀️
“Monday, Monday can’t trust that day”. John Phillips
Monday is the “return” button on your keyboard.
Where you return to your routines.
