Here’s a midweek Ikigai thought to ponder.
It's more of a question.
📌 Can you remember who you were before the world told you who you should be?
Considering this question thoroughly forces you to think about how much of who you are and what you do is in response to what the world tells you.
It's a great reflection question for your Ikigai search.1
Can you remember?

The quote, “Can you remember who you were before the world told you who you should be?” is from Charles Bukowski. Attribution was unknown at the time of the original writing.
Great quote usually attributed to > -Charles Bukowski. The reflection as you point out is to recall perhaps when we had the freedom and time in our youth to chase dreams that somehow left when we entered the rat race of life. Tap into our past and we may just leave the rats behind and focus on the rabbits that can multiply at a great pace (joy) and at the same time avoid much of the snares that life also has to take our lives in a instant without fulfilling those same dreams! Some say it is the year of the Rabbit...ok perhaps...some years it is also the rat...well perhaps both are resilient in their own way with lessons to be learned!
