David nice way to finish the week with this new word for me and many with insights to a story and lessons learned that guided you towards an insightful path that you are on today! Pax, Lux et Amor! Veritas IHS
Absolutely love this post! Thank you. I will share my mom loved it too.
I wish I could share the photo she sent as a response to me this morning, but it was an image of a road with the quote “I don’t know where I am going, but I am on my way”
David, Thank you; the timing of this is amazing; a reminder, along with a few other pointed reminders of how I’ve, if only internally and emotionally, lost my way. I’m quite alone in this hidden state of being. As a student of lean, continuous improvement and now, Ikigai, thanks to your expanding of my mindset, I am harshly “hit over the head”, as I read this, of my gradual, unconscious descent into a bit of a black hole over the past few months. Facebook memory posts reappearing recently showed me the drastic change from my previous to current mental state. As informative as SubStack can be to a mind as curious as mine, I’ve allowed my newfound knowledge base and connections to great minds be overwhelmingly absorbing of every inch of free space in my head. I’ve lost touch with something I can’t quite accurately name at this moment, but it deeply saddens me. Not one for Hallmark movie platitudes, your post I could relate to the instigation I need; I’m hoping rereading it daily will work the magic in shaking me out of this malaise and onward with a coddiwomple life I previously embraced. Thank you again!

Splendid! Thrilled to hear this.
I'm visualizing the photo now.
