Your Ikigai Thought for this Saturday...
As we end one week, we set the tone for the next with our mindset and intention.
Let’s look at this urging from Mary Oliver.1
“I want to think again of dangerous and noble things. I want to be light and frolicsome. I want to be improbable, beautiful, and afraid of nothing, as though I had wings.”
It is easy to settle into a rut. To go about our life in a routine. There is a call to adventure in this poem. Not the adventure of movies, rather, the adventure of living into our essence and purpose in harmony with everything we do.
🌀 Reflection:
🌱 What would be a dangerous or noble thing in your life?
🌱 How would the week be different if you were ‘afraid of nothing as though you had wings’?
🌱 What does it mean to embrace ourselves as improbable and beautiful?
🌱 What might happen if you started the following week this way?
🌱 What might happen if you don’t?
