Being fortunate to live in New England (USA) we do have the seasons. Albeit this Winter has been very mild in relation to snow accumulation, but the cold and shorter daylight is still there. We await the Spring and new beginnings in nature and ourselves. Summer is reflective of warm weather, longer daylight, outdoor fun and vacations then into Fall and shorter daylight, leaves are falling, we need to take care of the outdoor items to Winterize and get ready again for the Winter. These seasonality's have afforded we in this area to prepare for storms that can dismantle our power grid and homes. Our so-called normal life is disrupted from peace to some turmoil...yet in all this we are strengthened like the palm trees in the wind or the coral reef on the rougher sides. I will leave with this quote to ponder > “Trust the wait. Embrace the uncertainty. Enjoy the beauty of becoming. When nothing is certain, anything is possible.” — Mandy Hale
I was recently talking to a younger person about this. If everything is full-throttle, then either nothing stands out or eventually nothing will be accomplished because it was not sustainable.
Learning how to modulate, observing seasons, is a skill that requires decades spent with intentional living.
