"Pursue with the fullest energy

That which you already are

There is nothing to become."

-Wu Hsin

That will do me for today, David.

Thank you.

Preventing ourselves from reaching our goals by a clearer path to a lesser goal is a blindspot to watched for. I don't think I'll be able to see it any other way after reading Robert Brault's words.

You know having an impact on the most people possible is part of my ikiverse, David. Viewing our actions and words as influence on 2nd and 3rd degrees and beyond can affect even the very way we look at a single person. Danielle Doby's connection to the ocean level rising makes me think of how often we talk of tipping points and exponential effects of negative actions or neglect. Imagine if we reframed our small behaviors throughout the day as tipping over fears, obstacles, and other limiting beliefs like Domino's?

I am not sure I agree with Wu Hsin. Every day I feel like I am being caused to become something I am not yet. This is not to say I am not worthy or never good enough. It is to say, given the interpretation of those other two thoughts above, it is impossible for me to imagine the extent of improvement and impact I may see in my future.

I dig that you explored these thoughts Scott and came up with your own interpretation and meaning. 🙏🏻 That's the beauty of this particular approach to reflection.

It is my curious experience that this has a "5 needs of the heart" feel to it 🙏

I'm not familiar though I like the sound of that!

I appreciate thinking about all 5 quotes, but there is something so comforting about the Wu Hsin quote. After reading it, I felt like taking a deep breath and relaxing / releasing into life, into being. We are almost always striving to be a better person, to be successful at all of the things we need to do, to get through each day. Wu Hsin's quote encourages us to take pleasure in being aware. Thank you for your writings.

Thank you for the kind words. "To take pleasure in being aware"...that's a beautiful admonition Amy.
