I appreciate the quotes David and the meaning behind them. Like most wisdom it is about being ones best self and hey everyone should be doing so. Yet we are talking of the physical self and most know that there is more to this existence than what we see and utilize with our senses. I have another quote for you > "I not only know who I am. I also know where I'm going." May your troubles be less, your blessings more, and may nothing but happiness, come through your door. "Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil - it has no point." – Billy Graham I would agree with Billy Graham on this point, which is the main point. Attainment of any essence, purpose and harmony is nothing unless it is fulfilled with an intimate relationship with God (The Triune One). Why would I cherish reaching any mountaintop (true of illustratively) if I can not experience it with God? Last thought from the scene from the movie > For the Love of the Game....Now if you seen this movie and know the main character Billy Chapel is pitching his last game and even though he indeed pitches a perfect game against the dreaded Yankees there is something missing. Billy sits alone in his hotel room as the realization sinks in that everything he has been and done for the past 19 years is over. Despite his amazing accomplishment, Billy weeps not only for the loss of baseball, but for the other love of his life, Jane who was a person he loved and lost in the past by shutting her out when she was trying to show true love. In that moment in the hotel room he was totally alone! I do not want to be Billy Chapel! Great topic David and love these open format discussions and respect your opinions and wisdom!
