Thanks for sharing my note! Choices are the same, and,I might add that on a chilly winter day like today, I might alternate with hot chocolate.

I love a hot chocolate with loads of fresh real dairy whipped cream…and a shot of espresso.

“These were gathering places where, for the price of a penny and a cup of coffee, people from all walks of life could come together to share ideas and engage in deep discussions.”

Wish we had that today. Everyone’s in their own world now.

True. Coffee shops are somewhat isolated experiences rather than communal. So, Bridget, what beverage would you be enjoying at such a coffee shop?

I’m now used to my mold free Bulletproof decaf at home. The coffee at shops in my area isn’t of that quality, unfortunately. I like mine black and drink it only when eating savory food. Even though it’s decaf, I still have to drink it early in the morning or I’ll have problems getting to sleep.

Not for me the dainty demitasse sized espressos or the Cuban coffee from the bakery or takeout window downtown in West Palm Beach (I am too far away now, for that, but never mind); not for me the burned beans from the harpoonist's bookstore cafe. Instead, I take a Tervis Tumbler (made in USA!) with its insulating double plastic walls, fill it full of simple coffee made from ordinary commercial brands--the blue hotel one, or the red one with the Shakespeare library--but brewed at proper strength, about half again as strong as the container advises, and if I am lucky then I can sit outside for an hour and sip and read and contemplate. If I am even luckier, I might have a thought, or two.

"...burned beans from the harpoonist's bookstore cafe" You did not disappoint. And as you continue I can envision a marvelous coffee and reading experience. Thank you for bringing me along, Jackson. 🙏🏻☕️📖

I *love* this prompt detailing the beverages we revere AND the words we infuse them with. What a way to get curious about our relationships! It depends...my fave rituals are:

1. a cup of fair trade coffee w/ almond caramel machiato milk creamer & a peace of dark chocolate

2. ginger turmeric or green tea

3. Cacao with macadamia milk, honey & some love tonic herbs

4. Loose leaf tea blends such as blue lotus flower tea OR Artemis Rides or Yuletide Blend from local Verity Herbs OR Anahata Alchemy Lakshmi Abundance Blend with rose petals, chamomile, jasmine buds, vanilla and...infused with 534 hz ♾️❤️‍🔥🙏

If it's summer time, I do love a good hibiscus sangria sun tea!

A blessing in every beverage for the hands & hearts that cultivated it, the Earth that bared it, the creator that curated the experience, and the body temple receiving the nourishment is also pretty dope 🤌

And wouldn't you know it...we are 60-70% water so what we think when we drink surely seems valid 👏
