What a beautiful story of self-redemption, David. We should remember not everything is clear in any given moment. Some things take years to understand.

That is a poignant and powerful insight Lisa. Things aren't always clear until much later. 🙏🏻

It would be remiss of me not to also credit my beloved book club & our guest speaker Bridget Stutchbury, author of Silence of the Songbirds. For they stoked within me a question we pondered...how does what seems to be the insatiable sense of curiosity in children...seem to dwindle? And my resultant...wonder 😊

Have you ever read Orbiting the Giant Hairball? It was my first introduction to how the word de-geniuses our children and how tog et it back as adults.

David, the way you map your journey and relentlessly embrace adversity with such kindness & compassion...if I was invited to use marketing terminology...I'd descibe it as a boundless capacity to "niche up"...like.a.boss...which in retrospect...I imagine is a "pre-requisite" for a human spirit devoted to ikigai. It is sincerely a privilege to witness & wonder-inducing 🫶🙏

It honeslty reminds me of 2 quotes that came up this week while being mentored by... life:

Creating safe spaces to hold the depth of our hurt with loving kindness is the birthplace of our serenity.

The power of curiosity is a conduit to reciprocity & the sacred elixir that is resilience that can be cultivated there.

Those are powerful insights Alivyana. I'm going to sit with those myself and ponder.
