Loving the retired Dave moments. He’d look like a natural exploring the bottom of the sea…🤭

Sometimes I think that self exploration (ahem, retirement) is harder than working! 😎

The best gift a person can give when they reach a point in their lives that they no longer need to work is to mentor the next generation and then get out of the way so those after them can reach the success they have. Become a ladder to the future and teach those you help to do the same by showing them what they are actually working towards.

Couldn't agree more. It's the ultimate win-win. 🙏🏻

Retired Dave would look awesome at Angel Falls, in my native Venezuela. That’s a trip of a lifetime. That’s what I call an un-retirement! You’re more active than ever but with purpose!

Now, you got me thinking with that question about our pains. As always, great food for thought. Happy un-retirement!

I am more active. I can't imagine what I would have lost staying in that corporate role. Time with the grandkids, my own time of seeking and more.

Congratulations for that! There’s nothing better than looking back and feeling good about the decisions we’ve made. 👏👏👏

First of all, these never get old, Dave! It's like a not-Flat Stanley!

😂

Secondly, I think I'm drawn to the definition "to move from". That speaks to understanding what we can let go of, leave behind. And it may even indicate a returning to something we were earlier. An essence that was lost.

This gave me the giggles. Especially the Star Wars day one 😀

That one was fun to do. I had to work to get the angle and lighting right and if you look close, my logo icon is on the ship with blast marks.
