Not yet is a great metaphor and I heard it today while on a Conference! One of the speakers had mentioned the exact same thing when he was referring to selling and the art of negotiation. A sale that is not right today may be right in the future...the real point is to not focus on what we may want but the bigger picture of simply having the opportunity to connect with the right people and have potential of developing the relationship over time! Who knows who they may know and better YET how I may be able to help in some way to build that trust that great relationships are built on anyway ;)

Very true indeed. ‘Not yet’ is positive expression, despite the negative ‘not’ in it; keeps the door open. Sometimes one is too early to understand something but might face it again, in future.
