David, I seldom think you are wrong. Today is one of those rare occasions. This is more an expectant revelation of times to come. Times when I can work outside or take a long bike ride without fear of heat stroke. You see, with the extra mass I carry, the heat is more than uncomfortable. It can be dangerous. I first experience heat exhaustion on a mountain in Haiti, hours from any chance of medical help.
Like everything else in life, it's a matter of perspective. Here's to temerate weather we can both enjoy.
Delighted you shared your perspective Michael. I do get that. My wife has similar challenges from MS. Fall is a respite for her. Here's to embracing the beauty of Fall my friend.
Sunday, finished a 20 and it was 86 degrees by the end. White salt all over my face. What a privilege. Let my skin turn crispy one more time. Let this Vitamin D flow through my body. Ride the wave. Be here now in the bliss of the oppression. How many more chances do I get?
Right?! Embrace each day of it while it is here. I'm heading out early today hoping to start in the cool air. Likely finish as you describe, crusty from the salt.
