I'm currently reading The Upside of Your Dark Side by Todd Kashdan and Robert Biswas - Diener. It's an interesting read and has a chapter about using both mindfulness and mindlessness to live an optimum life. Maybe that's what happened to you, David. Great co - ordination skills too 😸
If you do, David, I'd be really interested to know what you think. It has some great questioning of a pure positive psychology approach. That appeals to me because I don't think life is simple. On the contrary, it's wonderfully complex and sometimes downright contradictory! Through the looking glass we go 😸
I love the authenticity! I had a day like that yesterday with a high the day before in helping with something major for my family and another family I know. Not sure what happened yesterday as I did my best and lived another day which is today and all is better. So like the goatee ritual and would agree. I had a beard and then a moustache for some time when younger and just so much easier to shave every day. Lesson....keep life as simple as possible and make statements with our words/actions not so much our looks! Enjoy the the weekend David and let's catch up soon!

Perhaps! I agree with that approach and may need to read that book.

No two days are the same it seems. No matter what we do. Perhaps that is what keeps us interested and interesting.
"The downside of this is I can also be somewhat mindless when I shave."
Truly funny statement.
I'll bet you were paying attention when your granddaughter was doing it.
😁
Sometimes I suck. AND - I keep going.
That's the statement for me, right there.
It can be applied to so many things in life.
We are indeed. 🙏🏻
