Short and sweet today as it is refreshing to also hear more of those thoughts David! We at some key Northern spots as where you and I are from (not FLA or Cally etc) have the blessings of the change of the season which both encourages us and empowers us with a transformative state and also readiness and preparation. As the Good Book says> we know not the time and the day when we will be taken up. There have been songs written to live life as you were dying....well perhaps but we should at least live life each day to the fullest in seeking wisdom from lessons, experiences and developing relationships and not just "showing up". Pax, Lux et Amor....my dear friend! -Joe
It does foster an attitude of preparation and planning. I am hoping the leaves of my sunset maple are all down tomorrow and then I will clean the gutters of the many leaves that now rest in them.
Isn't it funny, as the days get colder, how many of us squander that little light we do have?
At least in the winter, there is as much infrared (IR) as in summer, and why it's a great idea to get out first thing, to get our early dose of IR, so that we can absorb more UV and Vitamin D through the day: https://romanshapoval.substack.com/p/lightpyramid
That's fantastic David! Thank you for letting me know. Bohdanna and I keep a calender of consecutive Sunrise counts. I find that the quiet, combined with that light, brings an incalculable amount of peace into my day. Keep going! Especially in the winter it's so crucial as we have less and less light.
For every sunrise, there is a great surprise that awaits everyone of us. One of them is the gift of life God continues to bless each and everyone of us.
Have a blissful and winning Wednesday David and my Ikigai friends
Love it. Thanks for sharing David
You are most welcome Lydia. 🙏🏻

I've been making a conscious effort to get morning sun since you shared those insights with me.

Look at that 😍
Then it was beautiful and warm most of the day as well. The beauty of fall with the warmth of summer. Perfect!
Yes then there is that 6-8 weeks of raking...um not the best of the season :(
