We are the world....each of us contributing to either the better or the worse of it each day. Being complacent is a choice, not a great one, but if you are not for the betterment than you are choosing non-transformation! Be the change and it starts with YOU!
"What would it mean to accept what is rather than what we’d wish it to be?"
I recently heard someone lament about those around them: "I think they are mourning a family 'picture' sometime in the future that never existed. And may never would have, instead of just accepting the family they've got."
This can apply to our life or business as well. It can be powerful to visualize "what could be" as a motivator to get us there. At the same time, we have to recognize that is not reality, even as we strive to make it so, and take what life gives us in this moment to grow by. How do we not know that the life we end up with is better than the one we visualized? Only we can create disappointment from the mismatch.
On another post someone quoted a Garth Brooks song and this brought a different one to mind. 'Thank God for Unanswered prayers.' Sometimes life works out better not getting what we planned.
