We may have to shovel snow so you aren't getting a lot of sympathy. 🤣

Don’t need sympathy now - the lawn’s done.

And, her indoors made me tea and lemon drizzle cake as a reword.

Double whammy!😄

Reminds me that Scripture sometimes compares this world to God's garden.

And supports the organic message as well, with humans returning to the dust from whence we once came.

In gardens, and life, organic mulch, compost and other such can support the development of new life. Lots to think about, thanks.

I have no way to logic my way as to exactly why I wonder this...but...does anyone else here feel that plants can feel things such as the warmth of the sun, the cold of the snow, the brush of the breeze, the embrace of the Earth, or the vastness of space? And isn't is curious that dandelion tea can be a helpful diuretic if we're trying to ease fluid retention OR a pesky weed in the lawn depending on the perspective? And...even if there are weeds in a square-foot garden, perhaps the Earth appreciates them being returned to sender in a composting pile of gratitude🤷‍♀️

The world is filled with mystery and miracles of which we have barely scratched the surface.

From someone that plants a vegetable garden each year this brings home a lessen of planned finality. We prepare and plant, water, the sun comes, fertilize and weed and try to protect the plants from deer and other wanderers attracted to eat of my garden bounty without price. I do love to make my Pesto as many benefit as I do from giving it away. In a garden are some lessons of God and his creation. We try our best to plan out and only have limited control in the outcome. A bad storm can arrive and all or much is gone in an instant. Then we rebuild the best we can and carry on...not emotional or reactionary but grateful we can rebuild. If not major disasters than we reap what we sow and still thank God for all. To Mr. Nimoy's point a garden can be one that remains in our memory like much of life, the good and not so and to realize it is fleeting is a gift and we get to have another to thank God, share with friends and live on the better for it!

A fleeting gift, "..we get to have another to thank God, share with friends and live on the better for it!" Indeed my friend. Live long and prosper. 🖖🏻

One of my favorite programs when young....Star Trek and Kung Fu. I learned from Spock that we can appreciate differences and learn from them as a team each is valuable in the right fit tested over time.
