I show up for people in a crisis. I'm good at taking care of all the things they aren't free to do, whether it's hospital paperwork or errands or laundry. I hate the existence of pain and will do alot to make whatever I can better.

Others are better than me at the slow patient work that's needed before and after the Moments. Takes all kinds to keep us going.

Superpower > ability to met people and bond fairly quickly to level the surfaces and get to talk frankly to learn more of the other and find ways to collaborate or at least pass on and move to another opportunity the better for it!

That's a worthy and important power, my friend.

My superpower is also my Achilles heel. It is empathy. I feel everyone’s joy, but I suffer from everyone’s grief. Right now the suffering of Palestinians, Ukrainians and undocumented Americans has my soul stretch so thin it almost overwhelms me. To combat this I look for ways to be kind to others. Nothing makes me happier than to see someone smile and to know that I’ve somehow made their day better, because that smile also buoys my spirit for the rest of the day. This much I can do, if nothing more.

Superpower ⚡️💥 Sincere desire to help others...and acting on it daily. Ranges from helping someone reach an item on a top shelf, rescuing/adopting the most needy of homeless pets, volunteering, offering support to the friend whose dad has had two strokes in the past month, to giving the restaurant server a 100% tip.

I'm not sure which my main superpower is, because they emerge in context with the need in front of me. But when I see most often is the ability to get people to agree to a common course of action through collaboration when they initially did not see that was in their interests initially.

As a superhero, I wield the magical power to guide people to seeing themselves and their world with new eyes, and to heal on this new path.

I suppose I would need a stardust wand, a lamp to light the way home to themselves, and never forget the cape and the tiara. A gal has to have her priorities after all, and looking classy is cool.

The tiara is essential, as are your superpowers. Keep sharing your gifts (and style!).

I’m extremely good at compromise. And I would rather be happy than right. I always know where people’s keys/shoes/wallets are. Because I pay attention.

So I’m basically a Mum Superhero. (All mums are superheroes).

Speaking for me personally, I’d prefer to be Lara Croft.

If you can maintain locations of keys, wallets and more do you rent out your services? We might need you around my house!

I agree, all mums are superheroes. So I must know...why Lara Croft?

When my daughter was small, she and I played computer games on my laptop. She’s very dyslexic but magic with a mouse! We played Tomb Raider a lot. She used to say I was like Lara Croft because I was much more active then. She’s 25 now and I’m 68. She talks of having me put in a care home….
