I've only just read this post but, there may be a reason behind this. I had a mild heart attack 2yrs ago on this date. Since then, I've always felt anxious whenever I feel anything around my chest area and my mind always goes back to that day. It wasn't particularly dramatic or traumatic, just an event.

I've always struggled to properly move on but something about having read this quote today seems like I'm being told, it's time to move forward.

I am so sorry to hear about your heart attack and the anxiety you've experienced since then.

It takes a lot of courage to open up and share your struggles with others, and I want you to know that your comment touched me.

It's incredible how the messages come sometimes, isn't it?

It can be a little nudge from a quote or a piece of writing that helps us see things in a new light and move forward.

I hope that you continue to find healing and peace in your journey.

After years of being a patient in psychotherapy , I don’t believe I have a “purpose” as such. Just becoming more me and simplifying life is what counts to me. My personal missions change every several years . No particular purpose. Always learning and discovering new ways of being.

There is nothing more purposeful than becoming who we were created to be. The sublime journey of "Always learning and discovering new ways of being." 🙏🏻 So glad you shared it with us.

Anything becomes an action if we are intentional about changing to that state. Or resolving to remain in it in spite of opposition trying to get us off of it.

Moving on is different from letting it go, because it requires purpose and effort to identify and take a step in a planned direction. Letting go could simply mean ignoring a bad situation.

ps - I've always wanted a window so deep I could sit in it like that.

That last thought was especially fun to read.

Hmm, interesting. I like the way that you point out that sitting and staring are actions too. My reading of it is that we need to take the time to contemplate our wounds before moving on. We know when the right time is. We just feel it or we have a dream that indicates that we are ready for the next phase.

That's a potent ponder Emma. 🙏🏻

Yes great timing and thoughts David. Seems applicable to what people are doing with Junteenth now every year. For some reason we have to go back to a point in history 6/13 1865 and try to relate personally to the enforcement of freeing the black slaves in the USA. Of course it was wrong, unjust and not God-like. When do we focus more on today's issues like the sex trade, enslavement to drugs, drinking and other conditions that causes misery to even our dear family and friends that get left unrecognized by trying to misguide our passion for the right causes we can actually help solve today!
